Leadership. Experience. Values.

Dannion Brinkley, bestselling author and near-death experiencer, has devoted his life to service and healing. Guided by compassion and profound visions, he supports those facing grief, loss, trauma, and life’s greatest transitions, inspiring hope and transformation.

The Brinkley Center, a nonprofit foundation, carries this mission forward by providing a safe and supportive sanctuary where individuals can find comfort, guidance, and renewal. With a focus on whole-person care, the center serves veterans, caregivers, and all who are navigating the challenges of grief or change—standing as a beacon of healing, hope, and community.

In September 2024, the Brinkley Center Foundation was established by Dannion Brinkley with the purpose of creating the Brinkley Center. This healing space will offer programs for those dealing with grief, trauma, caregiving, and those facing transitions, helping them to center their hearts and minds, and rebalance to live a life of gratitude.

The Center will promote whole-person health through education and activities, focusing on palliative care, hospice, end-of-life care, and the importance of an integrative healthcare system. Veterans will always be a priority. The Center will continue the work Dannion began in 1975, exploring the subject of life after death.

The first goal as we launch is to establish the Brinkley Center and make what Dannion was shown available to more people—caregivers, veterans, and anyone facing grief or trauma. The healing space is already available for purchase.

The Brinkley Center Foundation has submitted an application to obtain 501(c)(3) status, allowing donations to be tax-deductible in the United States.

Lightning strikes in 1975

Give thanks for the simple breath of life

“In 1975, I was on the phone during a storm when a bolt of lightning struck me. It came through the receiver, blasted into my head, and threw me across the room. My heart stopped, and for 28 minutes. I was gone.

During that time, I left my body and entered a world of light. I traveled through a tunnel, relived every moment of my life in a panoramic review, and met beings of light who showed me visions of the future. It was more real than anything I had ever known.

When I came back, I was forever changed. That experience gave me a mission—to live with compassion, to serve others, and to help people face death, grief, and transformation with love and dignity.”

“We are great powerful & mighty spiritual beings, with dignity, direction & purpose.”
